Beautiful holiday accommodation in a modern, cosy, two-bedroom cottage situated in the heart of the traditional new forest village that is Milford-on-Sea. The cottage is a short walk to the beach at Milford. The beach is a mixture of sand and pebbles, you can also visit Hordle Cliff beach 1km to the west, where there is a sand bar at low tide.
Milford’s village green is 200 yards from the front door, here you will find a good choice of independent cafes and stores. We have an award-winning, local butcher and also a greengrocer, both selling locally produced fare. There is a lovely wine bar and a couple of cosy pubs and some great restaurants too.
Milford is where the New Forest meets the sea, we have superb views over to the Isle of Wight and the Needles from the beach. We have made every effort to ensure that you are comfortable during your stay. We hope you enjoy these little luxuries as you explore the New Forest and the south coast from Seashell Cottage.

“A very enjoyable stay at this gem of a cottage. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy. We absolutely loved it. We know the area well and it was great to be able to walk to our favourite restaurants or to wander around the village. It is only a short drive to the beach with plenty of paid parking to choose from dependant on which beach you prefer. The information book in the cottage was full of useful information. We look forward to returning in the warmer months to sample the outside seating area.”
